I, for the first time in my life, just put concealer under my eyes. I feel like a Kardashian.
The goal is to have five papers in review before EB. Hence, the need for concealer.
Little Isis is going to need some concealer too. He just woke up, toddled in to my room and queried, “Mommy, if I am a very quiet boy, can I play Wheel of Fortune on the iPad?”

Dr. Isis, if this is the first time in your life you have needed under-eye concealer, truely you are blessed with good skin. As a pasty ghost with thin skin I have needed (though not used) concealer since I was ten. Good night’s sleep? “You look exhaused!” A cold? “Did someone punch you?”

I blew through a tube of that shit recently- after my son was born it’s the only way I look human. At the end of a long teaching day it rubs off and when I look in the mirror it appears the crypt keeper is looking back at me. I’m heading to EB for the first time ever this year!
